Nikki Skinner Promoted to Human Resources Director at Farmers & Merchants Bank

Farmers & Merchants Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Nikki Skinner to human resources director. As a dedicated professional with more than 15 years of experience in human resources, Skinner has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise throughout her career at the bank. In her new role, she will lead the Human Resources Department, focusing on policy development, staff coordination and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while aligning the bank’s mission and talent strategy.
In 2006, Skinner began her career as a customer service representative and payroll clerk at Farmers and Merchants Bank. This promotion is a testament to Skinner’s commitment to excellence and her dedication to fostering a positive and compliant work environment.
Skinner was born in Brinkley and spent most of her life in Clarendon. A proud graduate of Clarendon High School, Skinner pursued higher education at Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas System and Northwest Florida State College. Her credentials include a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and a Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) designation.
Skinner is deeply involved in her community locally and statewide. She serves as the Arkansas SHRM State Council secretary and treasurer of the Arkansas Industry Liaison Group (ILG). Skinner has also participated in Arkansas Employment Law & Legislative Affairs (ELLA) and ASHRM Conference committees. She also contributes locally as a Clarendon School District board member, volunteers for the Be Pro Be Proud Day and participates in Stuttgart Rid Litter Day.
