Celebrating New Leadership: Dickson, Pattillo and Spoon Step Into Companywide Director Roles
We’re proud to share that three experienced leaders at Farmers & Merchants Bank and The
Bank of Fayetteville have been promoted to companywide director roles — an important step as
we continue to grow and serve communities across Arkansas.
Micheal Dickson has been named Director of Portfolio Profitability, Kyle Pattillo is now Director
of Credit Quality and Underwriting, and Tyler Spoon has been promoted to Director of Private
Banking. Each brings deep experience, strong relationships and a shared commitment to
community banking.
Micheal Dickson: Director of Portfolio Profitability
Based in Pocahontas, Micheal has served as Pocahontas Market President since joining
Farmers and Merchants Bank in 2019. In this expanded role, he will focus on building and
maintaining a healthy, disciplined loan portfolio while continuing as Pocahontas Market
President.
Micheal brings nearly 30 years of banking and regulatory experience to this position. His
background includes time as a Senior Bank Examiner with the Arkansas State Bank
Department, as well as leadership roles at Pocahontas Federal Savings and Loan, First
Community Bank in Imboden and Integrity First Bank.
A native of Imboden, Micheal earned his finance degree from Arkansas State University and
completed the Barrett Graduate School of Banking. He is active in the Pocahontas community
and is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Rolling Hills Country Club.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to take on the role of Director of Portfolio Profitability,” Micheal
said. “I want to help build a healthy and disciplined portfolio that supports long-term success for
our customers, employees and shareholders.”
Kyle Pattillo: Director of Credit Quality and Underwriting
Formerly Community President for Springdale and Bentonville, Kyle now serves as Director of
Credit Quality and Underwriting. In this role, he will oversee underwriting standards, credit
processes and loan approvals across all markets, while continuing to support relationship
development in northwest Arkansas.
A Stuttgart native, Kyle joined Farmers and Merchants Bank and The Bank of Fayetteville in
2017 after nearly two decades in real estate brokerage, appraisal and development. His career
includes leadership roles at Lindsey & Associates, where he served as Executive Broker, giving
him extensive experience in commercial real estate and valuation.
Kyle holds a finance degree from the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of the Southwest
Graduate School of Banking at SMU. He is active in the Fayetteville community and works at
the Springdale Loan Production Office.
“I have always had a passion to help other people be successful in their ventures, and F&M
Bank gives me the platform to lend a hand and guide our customers to success,” Kyle said.
“With my new role, I will get to help all of our lenders across the state extend that helping hand
to customers, and provide efficient customer service to the people in our communities.”
Tyler Spoon: Director of Private Banking
Tyler has been promoted to Director of Private Banking, where he will lead the bank’s private
banking strategy and work closely with high net-worth individuals, families and business owners
with complex financial needs.
With this promotion, Tyler steps away from his role as Community President for the Fayetteville
region and moves fully into the bank’s private banking leadership team.
Tyler joined Farmers and Merchants Bank in October 2023 as a Commercial Loan Officer after
retiring from Major League Baseball in 2018. A former Arkansas Razorback and Boston Red
Sox player, he brought more than 10 years of banking experience to the organization, including
prior work as a mortgage loan officer. He was promoted to Community President in January
2025, overseeing retail and lending operations in northwest Arkansas.
“I’m excited to step into this new role and continue serving our clients in a more specialized
way,” Tyler said. “Private banking clients often have unique, highly personal needs, and
Farmers and Merchants Bank and The Bank of Fayetteville are uniquely positioned to meet
those needs through local decision-making, deep relationships and a true understanding of our
communities. I look forward to working closely with our clients to help them navigate complexity
and achieve their long-term goals.”
