Farmers & Merchants Bank Promotes Leslie Self to Chief Credit Officer

The Farmers & Merchants Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Leslie Self to chief credit officer. In her new role, Self will oversee loan policies and procedures to ensure overall regulatory compliance of the bank’s loan portfolio.

Self’s journey with Farmers and Merchants began in 1998. The bank promoted her to branch manager and loan officer in 2006, and she advanced to credit risk manager in 2018. Self most recently served as the credit administration manager.

A native of Conway County, Self earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a double major in economics and finance from Arkansas Tech University. She is also a graduate of the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Self is deeply committed to her community. She has served as the accounting chair for Relay for Life and is a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary Club. She currently serves as a board member for the Conway County Center for Exceptional Children.
